Garden Apprentice Program Application Deadline

The Garden Apprentice Program (GAP) at BBG is a great way for teens to learn about urban agriculture and the environment while working in our public garden. Apprentices can work their way up the four-tier program, potentially earning a paid position as a Tier 4 apprentice.

Join the NYC Compost Project to lend a hand at QBG’s urban farm or learn how composted food scraps nourish the soil. Tasks vary by event, and may include weeding, harvesting, planting activities, building a compost pile, or sifting finished compost. Registration required.
