UA Science Expo

End of year celebration, projects presentation and more!

EXPO is our end of year celebration where Urban Advantage students from all borough come and present their projects. This event is held at the American Museum of Natural History on one of the first two weekends of June. Doors open at 10 am, and the program runs from 1 pm to 3 pm. You can attend this event by obtaining a flyer from your Urban Advantage teacher. Flyers will be mailed out in May to all UA schools.

How do students get to present? Urban Advantage teachers register the projects they wish to be presented. Project registration becomes available in May. EXPO is not only for presenting students to attend. Families, friends, and fellow classmates are invited. Parent Coordinators from UA schools may use buses to attend Expo with families as well. While attending EXPO you get the chance to visit the museum’s special exhibits.

What administrators, parent coordinators, and teachers can do to help?  ENCOURAGE YOUR STUDENT AND THEIR FAMILIES TO EXPO!  What if I never received EXPO vouchers?  Go to, login and request more!
