Sea Lion Feedings

Sea lions are curious and intelligent. Our training/feeding sessions help stimulate them. In the fall, the animals may eat more than usual. They’re building up insulation for the cold weather.

Penguin Feedings

When it’s time to eat, our Magellanic penguins come out of their dens or up from the deep and bob for fish. If you think of a question, there’s always a friendly zookeeper nearby to answer it.

This unique art installation was designed and built for the Garden’s smallest visitors, insects! Conceived by architects Joyce Hwang and Nerea Feliz, the pollinator habitats were created by their students at the University at Buffalo and the University of Texas at Austin.
