Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a stunning 52-acre urban botanic garden that connects people to the world of plants, fostering delight and curiosity while inspiring an appreciation and sense of stewardship of the environment.

Urban Advantage participants receive vouchers for admission to our institutions. Follow instructions below to reserve tickets using your voucher.

We are excited for you to visit. Vouchers are valid for general admission.

Tickets are required; reserve in advance for fastest entry. Visit: https://www.bbg.org/learn/urban_advantage to reserve your tickets. Click “Get Tickets”, then “Not a Member, Buy Tickets” (no fee will be charged). Select date and choose “Affiliated Organization Tickets” on the Reserve Tickets menu. Go to “Checkout”. You will receive a confirmation email with QR code that you must show on arrival. You must bring your UA Teacher voucher (either paper or digital copy) to show to Visitor Services staff.

Children under 14 must be supervised by adults 18 or over.

Parking is not included. Voucher not valid for entry to Lightscape or other ticketed events.

Class Trip Vouchers can be used for a 90-minute instructor-led workshop that includes hands-on plant explorations, a tour of plant collections, and potting up a plant for each student in the education greenhouse or a 45-minute instructor-led walking tour of the plant collections and a take-back-to-school planting kit with a plant for each student. Teachers can also use their Class Trip Vouchers for Backpack Trips which are self-led structured tours where we provide curated itineraries along with a backpack that includes journals, pencils, hand lenses, and supplies to pot up a plant for each student back at school. Teachers may request a pre-trip Teacher Support Visit with BBG UA staff on the UA Portal.

Parking is not included.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

No need to travel upstate or to New England to view beautiful fall foliage—the Garden is the perfect place for leaf peeping. Come see our colorful black tupelos and maples as well as golden ginkgos, scarlet Liberty Oaks, and orange and red sumacs.

Learn and play together in the Discovery Garden! Hands-on stations throughout the garden’s courtyard, meadow, woodland, and marsh encourage families to explore nature alongside our volunteer educators and teenage Garden apprentices.
