Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a stunning 52-acre urban botanic garden that connects people to the world of plants, fostering delight and curiosity while inspiring an appreciation and sense of stewardship of the environment.

Visit Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Urban Advantage participants receive vouchers for admission to our institutions. Follow instructions below to reserve tickets using your voucher.

We are excited for you to visit. Vouchers are valid for general admission.

Tickets are required; reserve in advance for fastest entry. Visit: https://www.bbg.org/visit to reserve your tickets. Click “Get Tickets”, then “Not a Member, Buy Tickets” (no fee will be charged). Select date and choose “Affiliated Organization Tickets” on the Reserve Tickets menu. Go to “Checkout”. You will receive a confirmation email with QR code that you must show on arrival. You must bring your UA Teacher voucher (either paper or digital copy) to show to Visitor Services staff.

Children under 14 must be supervised by adults 18 or over.

Parking is not included. Voucher not valid for entry to Lightscape or other ticketed events.

Visitors can reserve free Community Tickets for any day of the week. Follow the same instructions as above, but select “Community Tickets” instead of “Affiliated Organization Tickets.”

Use your Community Trip Voucher to book a Backpack Trip—a self-guided visit designed to spark exploration and learning for the whole family. Each backpack comes packed with themed resources, including:
    • Activity booklets for every student and family to complete together during the visit
    • Magnifying glasses, pencils, and other hands-on tools to investigate plants and nature up close
It’s a fun and flexible way to make the most of your Garden experience!

Free self-guided visits are also available for school groups on both school days and non-school days. Register your group here.

Guidelines

  • School Community trip vouchers are for Parent Coordinators to host the families and students taught by UA-participating teachers on up to two trips per school year.
  • School Community trip vouchers expire on June 30th.
  • School Community Trip Redeem Codes (Voucher ID) must be presented at the time you book your reservation.
  • The Teacher/Parent Coordinator/Administrator listed on the voucher must be present when voucher is used.
  • Limitations to group size may apply, check institutional limits when reserving.
  • To request a bus, complete the bus request form on the portal (https://myua.amnh.org).

Designed by architect Suchi Reddy, Turbulence 2025 is a series of reflective panels with parts that move with the wind, accompanied by a sonic installation. Gathering and distorting its surroundings, the work reflects the landscape in a way unseen before.
